2012 Prediction: Helter Skelter

Charles Manson has a famous prediction about what would bring about Armageddon, so to speak. He believes that he and his followers would do acts to bring about a race war of whites versus minorities and the chaos would allow him and his followers to escape society and live peacefully in the dessert paradise.

This is widely considered to be crazy fantasies of a lunatic. But is he really that far off? Consider this scenario: Fall 2012- corporatist President elect Mitt Romney narrowly defeats President Obama in one of the closest elections of all time. Romney's campaign uses a year and half barrage against Obama calling him a socialist, fascist, muslim, a communist etc. The mostly white teaparty campaigns also continue to become more radicaled as the election nears. Obama's supporters are no better. The African American people get behind Obama despite policies that did not look out for them.

Both parties see a beneficial oppurtunity to use racist idealogy to confuse and split the people, and throw red meat to their base. A white cop gets killed by someone, probably a CIA, FBI,DEA- choose the alphabet soup title, and the white world cries foul. Bill O"Hanity and Glen Beck air non stop coverage of the incident to their white base, who eat up the cries to stop the "black anarchy". Cops taste blood in the water and the thin bue line everywhere do a blitzkrieg against the "black anarchy". Rodney King looks like a romantic comedy film starring Sandra Bullock compared to the onslaught. The black community leaders fight back, rightfuly so, and mobilize thier base. Meanwhile a Hispanic laborer is shot to death by cops for "smuggling" when in reality he is just taking his family to find work/survival. The Hispanic leaders fight back, rightfuly so. An American labrinthe breaks out creating an uncivil war, an anarchy brought about through the absenece of anarchy.

In this perfect soup of chaos, a man walks out of high security prison and joins his followers in the dessert. By the way, Charles Manson is up for parole in 2012.
